Our metallised K12 PET films are used in the food industry e.g. in pastry and fish trays. Further applications comprise composite films in which, for instance, 2 or 3 different films are glued together/laminated to produce flexible packaging materials for animal food, potting soil, etc. Our wet laminating films are frequently used on labels to protect the print. SL40 and SL45 PET are shrink sleeve films that, in flexographic printing, are printed on one side in the so-called reverse printing technique. In a next step, the printed film is drawn over bottled products (drinking yoghurt, alcoholic drinks) and moulded into place using hot steam or high heat.
